Rising to a height of about 600 meters above sea level, Pulpit Rock is a flat-topped cliff located in the Strand Region of Norway. Serving as a paradise for trekkers, hikers flock to the Rock every year between May and October.
The most scenic treks can be enjoyed during the earliest hours of dawn, with the rising sun offering a stunning backdrop to your hike. Hiking, however, is not the only way to explore the stunning rock formations.
You may choose to navigate the Pulpit and its surrounding fjords through boat cruises as well as activities such as kayaking, canoeing, cycling, salmon safari and more. Extreme sports such as kiting, paragliding, surfing and bungee jumping are also popular here.
