PONAGAR TEMPLE

Ponagar Temple is a historical and cultural monument of Nha Trang which was built between the 7th and 13th century. This national temple is dedicated to Queen Po Ina Nagar who shared the crucial knowledge of agriculture and craftsmanship with the Cham civilization. The Temple is divided into four sections, namely, the Gate Tower, the Vestibule, the Temple and the Inscription Area. By Road: The Ponagar Temple is located at a distance of around 2 km from the city centre of Nha Trang. You can reach the temple in approximately 5 minutes via the CT01/QL1C route. You can either take a taxi or rent a motorbike to reach the temple. For a more budget-friendly option, you can also take a bus from the city centre and get down at the first bus stop after crossing Tran Phu Bridge. From there, you can take a short walk of approximately 5 minutes to reach the Ponagar Temple.
