POLISH AVIATION MUSEUM

The Polish Aviation Academy is one of the best places to visit in Krakow where you can come across a number of old aircrafts, sailboats, weapons, motors, photographs and documents from the past. Situated in the dysfunctional Krakow Airport, its exhibits offer a glimpse into the aviary history of Poland.

Although located on the outskirts of Krakow, the Polish Aviation Museum is one of the most important military museums of Poland. A visit to this Aviation Museum means getting to explore the aviary military might of the Polish forces in the recent past. The exhibition is located on the former Krakow-Rakowice-Czyzyny Airport, which is one of the oldest airports built in 1912 by Austria-Hungary

It has a structured display of aircrafts, engines, weapons, documents and even uniforms used by various forces during WW1, WW2 and even the Cold War. As of today, there are more than 200 aircrafts, including sailplanes and 41 rare aircrafts. The Aviation Museum is also a premium publishing spot, and regularly publishes books, photo albums and memoirs related to the aviation history of Poland.
