An inevitable part of the history of Vietnam, Po Klong Garai has prominence still as a major landmark of the city. It is a Cham temple tower located in the principality of Panduranga. The temple is dedicated to the legendary king Po Klaung Garai and built by Jaya Sinhavarman III. These four brick towers perched on the top of a huge granite hill covered with cacti.
Highlights: The architecture portrayals of the tower lead to the old Hindu mythology and traditions. The entrance to the tower has a sculpture of Shiva with six hands. The construction of the towers is based on the theme of the Thap Mam Style of Cham art and architecture. A linga with the human face is the prime attraction here which is dated back to 16th or 17th century.
