About Norwich Cathedral

The Norwich Cathedral is one of the most iconic Romanesque buildings in Europe. It is 461 feet long and 72 feet wide and is filled with attractive historical buildings that reveal Norwich's history. The cloisters are fascinating, the Norman and late mediaeval architecture are pleasing, and the entire church is stunning to explore. It was begun built-in the late 11th century by Herbert de Losigna.

There are 225 bosses in the nave and over 1000 bosses in the Cathedral; in short- there is a mediaeval societal section that includes Kings, nobles, peasants, musicians, popes, and everyone. Besides the main building, there are the cloisters, and the roof is much closer to see the bosses in detail.

Location: 65 The Close, Norwich, Norfolk, England, NR1 4DH
