The Nambung National Park is located in the Wheatbelt region of Western Australia, 17 km south of the town of Cervantes. The park derives its name from the iconic Nambung River which enters the park and then vanishes off inside the limestone cave. It is an archaeologically significant site of Australia and attracts a lot of tourists every year from around the world. It is home to a number of endemic species starting from birds, mammals and reptiles. The vast stretches of limestone pinnacles which were formed almost 25,000 to 30,000 years ago are a treat to the eyes and you can get some amazing clicks in front of them.
