MONASTERY OF THE HOLY TRINITY

The Monastery of the Holy Trinity is another prominent monastery located in the Meteora region of central Greece. Like the Holy Monastery of St. Nicholas Anapafsas, it is perched atop one of the impressive rock pillars that characterize the Meteora landscape.

The Holy Trinity Monastery is also known as Agia Triada in Greek. It was built in the 15th century and is renowned for its stunning location and remarkable architecture. The monastery gained international fame when it was featured in the James Bond movie "For Your Eyes Only."

To reach the Monastery of the Holy Trinity, visitors typically need to climb a series of steps cut into the rock or follow a winding path.
