MIRABELL PALACE

Mirabell Palace in Salzburg, Austria, is a captivating architectural masterpiece with a rich history that spans centuries. Initially built in 1606 by Prince-Archbishop Wolf Dietrich von Raitenau for his mistress Salome Alt, the palace underwent significant renovations in the 18th century under the rule of Archbishop Franz Anton Harrach. It was during this period that the palace's stunning Baroque design, characterized by grand marble staircases, opulent chambers, and exquisite frescoes, was crafted by renowned architect Johann Lukas von Hildebrandt.
