MATSUMOTO TIMEPIECE MUSEUM

Matsumoto Timepiece Museum is a museum in Matsumoto dedicated to time and clocks. This is a museum consisting of 3 floors that houses clocks and watches of different types, shapes and sizes. Some of the exhibits here also include watches that are used by people belonging to certain professions too, like a train conductor and nurse. From Europe to Asia, you can find some of the most unique timepieces in the Matsumoto Timepiece Museum. 

The first 2 floors come with a permanent collection, you can also find gramophones and musical records too. Meanwhile the third floor has a temporary exhibition that revolves around a particular theme. In fact, the large pendulum located outside the museum is so big that it is the largest of its kind in Japan.
