About Masjid Jummah
Masjid Jummah, also known as the Friday Mosque, represents one of the most significant types of Islamic places of worship found across the Muslim world. Unlike smaller neighborhood mosques, a Masjid Jummah is specifically designed to accommodate the larger congregations that gather for the important Friday prayers (Salat al-Jummah).
