MAHALASA TEMPLE

One of the most sacred places to visit in Gokarna, Mahalasa Temple is a renowned place that one must not miss on their Gokarna trip. It is also known as Shri Mahalasa Siddhivinayaka Temple and is easily accessible from the bus station in Gokarna.

The temple was built 150 years ago when an idol of Shri Siddhivinayak was installed here. The temple is best to visit during the occasion of certain festivals like Ganesh Chaturthi, Ashwin Shashti, Shravana Sankashti when the celebration is done with all the grandeur.
