LUCKNOW ZOOLOGICAL GARDEN

If you are an animal enthusiast then a visit to the Lucknow Zoological Garden must feature in your list of Places to visit in Lucknow. This zoo holds historical importance as well because it was built to commemorate the visit of Prince of Wales Edward VIII. The zoo covers nearly 71.9 acres of land and houses more than nine hundred species of animals, birds and reptiles.

The zoo is located in Hazratganj Road, Opposite to Civil Hospital, Lucknow 226001.

Timing:
The zoo remains open on all days except Mondays from 8:30 am to 5:30 pm. However, since the zoo is primarily an open area, you should try visiting the zoo in the early hours of the day otherwise the heat will become intolerable.

Entry Fee:
- For adults (above 12) Rs.60.
- For kids  (below 12) Rs.30.
