  • By Bus: Board a bus on the routes 108 or 339 to reach London Aquatics Centre bus stop or find a bus on line D8, 25, 86 and 104 to Stratford Bus Station from where you can walk to the centre in 4 minutes.
  • By Tube: Take a tube train on Jubilee Line to Stratford Underground Station and from there walk to Aquatics Centre in 5 minutes.
  • By Train: Get on a train to Stratford International train station from where you can walk to the activity location in 5 minutes. 
  • By Car: Drive to London Aquatics Centre where there are 111 parking spaces or avail a space in Westfield.

Best Time To Visit

The best time to visit London Aquatics Centre is during the weekdays when the place is less crowded. It is recommended to visit the location early in the morning around 6 AM when the centre opens or by noon after 12 PM to avoid the crowds and enjoy swimming in leisure.

  • Pre book your session date and time online for swimming, gym and other leisure activities to avoid standing in long queues at the entrance.
  • Members of the Aquatics Centre need not pay any fee to use the activities mentioned in their membership type while casual users will have to pay a fee to take part in any activity.
  • Visitors can bring swimming aids and equipment from their homes or buy goggles and swimwear at the centre.
  • Pool pods and hoists are available on request for disabled people.
  • A 3 Euro no show fee is levied if you miss attending a pre-booked activity or fail to scan the entry barcode.

Competition Pool

The Competition Pool is an Olympic-sized pool that is 50 metres in length, 3 metres deep and has ten lanes for confident and expert swimmers. The pool is accessible by competent swimmers only if they can swim 100 metres in a particular stroke in a lane.

The Training Pool is a 50 meter pool with eight lanes that is split into two for creating a safe swimming experience for swimmers of all levels. This pool can be used by anyone for general swimming and training sessions. It also hosts exciting family swimming events like the Aqua Splash inflatable session during which an inflated obstacle course is laid on the pool space to create a challenging ride.

Learn the art of diving in London Aquatics Centre’s exclusive diving pool from the Olympic winner Tom Daley. The diving course is designed for people of all ages and abilities who wish to master this sport. Visitors who want to learn diving at their own relaxed pace can join the rolling course that offers one class per week up to 50 weeks. Intensive crash courses are available for kids during holidays while a one-to-one coaching can be availed for a private lesson.

 

  • Diving Clubs

Visitors progressing from Tom Daley diving academy can further enhance their skills to competitive levels by working with and competing against Dive London Aquatics Club. Existing club divers who require special coaching and access to a 10 metre diving can also enrol in the squad. 

  • Dry Diving

Learn diving techniques and movements with the dry land diving facilities available at London Aquatics Centre. The pool has a trampoline to practice air rotational skills, two springboards to train launching and landing stances, and a foam pit to learn actual diving technique.
