LJUBLJANA CATHEDRAL

St. Nicholas Cathedral, famously known as Ljubljana Cathedral, is a popular architectural landmark and a prominent religious spot visited by millions of people annually. 

The landmark is dedicated to St. Nicholas, the patron saint of fishermen and boatmen. It was built in the early 13th century; however, it was rebuilt in the 18th century.

The cathedral features mesmerising bronze doors, which were added in 1996 to commemorate Pope John Paul II's visit. These doors were adorned with reliefs illustrating the history of Christianity in Slovenia.
