You are not really a Capetonian if you have never made it to the iconic Lion’s Head summit and viewed the sweeping views of the city from up there. Also, keep an eye out for the silver Protea growing on the slopes that is a part of the stunning range of endemic flora found here. Unique to the Cape Peninsula, this species emits a silvery sheen that adds to the exotic beauty of the place besides other vegetation like amaryllis, irises, hyacinths and orchids.
