Lençois National Park is another one of the national parks that can be found in the Northeastern region of Brazil - in a state called Maranhāo. The park - like most other parks in Brazil - is quite expansive and sprawls a staggering 70 kilometers in coastline around.
A unique feature about this part is that the interiors of the region can be found filled with nothing other than sand dunes and rollers. While it may appear to be a normal sight during summers, it springs up and looks incredible during monsoons as the dunes are filled with freshwater lagoons.
