Le Mayeur Museum is a memorial museum hall primarily lodging the works of art and individual history of painter Adrien-Jean Le Mayeur de Merpres (February 9, 1880 – May 31, 1958) a Brussels-conceived craftsman who was inspired by the shores of Sanur and devoted his whole life there to the two things he adored the most: human expressions and ladies. 

Before choosing to spend his life in Bali, Le Mayeur had effectively gone far and wide. Relinquishing his goes to seek after his adoration for expressions, he got himself captivated of the colorful fragrance of frangipani and a specific exposed breasted Legong artist, his significant other and dream, Ni Pollok.

Highlights: The museum embodies the extremely valuable legacy of a craftsman and a country. The principle building highlights the previous living quarters of the couple, with traditional Balinese components, etched stone dividers and red terrazzo floor tiles. Carved wood furniture and window ledges highlight themes roused by wayang shadow manikin characters.
