LADY CANNING S SEAT

Lady Canning’s Seat of Coonoor is yet another beautiful site for photography, trekking, and more specifically for all the history buffers. This beautiful place is situated at a distance of around 9km from Coonoor main spot.

It is one of the ancient mansion of Coonoor and presents an engaging view of the surrounding lush green valleys and mountains. This place offers a panoramic view of the vastly stretched tea estates and plains in and around Nilgiris.

This stands as one of the most favored tourist spots for history wanderers. Do not forget to accompany your camera while you make your way here. If you are good at trekking, you can start from any point such as Dolphin’s Nose or Droog Fort or Lamb’s Rock and finally land up here.
