LADGHAR BEACH

This beach is the hotspot for water sports and one of the best Dapoli tourist places. Ladghar is a smaller coast separated by a mixed stretch of sand and rocks, situated close to Karde Beach. Its southern end extends towards the fishing hamlet called Burundi. The place is also called Tamas Teertha because of the prominence of red pebbles and a reddish hue during sunset in most areas, especially close to the shore.

Visitors throng here during the peak season to indulge in boat rides, dolphin spotting, parasailing and several other adventures. And those who want leisure opt for a visit to the ancient Shiva Temple and a Dutta Mandir, or explore the many food outlets here.
