By foot: It is a small town and can be explored on foot. Enjoy a stroll from your stay to the viewpoint.
By Bus: Take a bus from the bus station to the city centre. Take bus number 1A, 3, or 5. Hop off at Vabaduse väljak or Hobujaama. From the bus stop, walk to Toompea Hill. It’s a short walk of about 10-15 minutes.
By Train: Take a train to Tallinn Train Station. From the train station, you can either walk to the Old Town or take a bus or tram. Buses and trams are available nearby; take tram 1 or 3 or bus routes 3 or 5 to reach the city centre. Get off at Vabaduse väljak or Hobujaama. The walk from the central area to the hill is about 10-15 minutes.
You will experience incredible views throughout the year at the Kohtuotsa Viewing Platform irrespective of the season. The best season to visit is late spring to the beginning of autumn. The best days are between Monday to Thursday if you want to avoid crowds. The museum is open between 10:00 am to 8:00 pm and the best time would be to visit during early evening to watch the sunset.
