Originally named as The Rektoratskirche St. Karl Borromäus, Karlskirche is a magnificent church in Vienna that fascinates tourists with its intricate dome paintings. With a huge elliptical copper dome at the center and twin enormous columns at the front, Karlskirche is one of the marvelous places to visit in Vienna.
Apart from the grandiose architecture that the church is famous for, this 18th-century baroque church is also popular for the classical concerts that it hosts all around the year.
