Madayipara: 
Perched upon a laterite hillock near Kannur adjacent to the northern bank of Kuppam River, with all its biodiversity and historical significance, Madayipara is one of the most beautiful landscapes in the entire state of Kerala.

This natural paradise used to be the administrative center of the Ezhimala kings, so walking around this place, you can find remnants of the past including the ruins of the Pazhi Kotta fort and an ancient Vadukunda Shiva Temple.
