Located inside Bukhansan National Park, Jingwansa temple is where tourists go to experience Buddhist Culture. The temple provides accommodation for tourists, along with training to female monks. This is the only temple in Seoul which serves Suryukje - a Buddhist custom to provide food to demons who are believed to be wandering on the land and the sea.
The architecture of the temple tells the tales of ancient times and thus makes the place historically rich and appealing. A trip to this temple can be combined with some time spent at Bukhansan National park.
