About Jangchub Choeling Monastery

The Jangchub Choeling Monastery in Pokhara was set up with the vision and support of the 14th Dalai Lama in the year 1987. At the present time, the monastery is home to about 250 nums who belong to various parts of India, Bhutan, Taiwan, Nepal, and South Korea.

It is run as an educational institute that spreads knowledge in the field of philosophy, poetry, grammar, and many others. Visiting one of the most fascinating Pokhara tourist places, you will come across the intricate design elements on the walls of the monastery and various artworks as well.
