ISKCON TEMPLE

The Iskcon Temple of Surat sprawls across a land stretch of 13,600 square feet and is renowned as one of the largest complexes built in town. Locally, the temple is famous as Shri Shri Radha Damodar Mandir and is tucked close to the banks of the River Tapi.

Although the architecture of the temple appears simple in its appearance, yet it defers a captivating style to impress your eyes. The main shrine of the temple features some beautifully carved idols both of Lord Rama and Lord Krishna. Besides the main shrine, the temple complex also features a guest house, and few souvenirs and bookstores for the visitors to carry some souvenirs as memorabilia of this shrine.
