Unfurls over an area of 17 acres, Indira Gandhi Musical Fountain Park is one of a kind which claims to be the first conceptualized musical fountain park in India. It is located on the famous Raj Bhavan road in the old LRDE Complex that runs two shows of a musical fountain in evening.
The 27 combination of fountains is arranged with the help of 1000 nozzles which offers a magnificent sight and sound treat. The water dancing on the rhythm synchronized sound is based on the latest multimedia technology.
The sound is basically instrumental Bollywood songs which are played for a total of 30 minutes to provide a visual treat to the visitors. The fascinating sight of the fountains dancing on music attracts hosts of tourist who are visiting Bangalore and is loved by children.

Bangalore is well connected when it comes to commuting. The park is located near Jawahar Lal Nehru Planetarium Road on T. Chowdiah, which is one of the most easily accessible areas of Bengaluru. Another way to reach the park is via buses. There is a bus stop outside the Bangalore Airport with buses leading to different parts of the city. You can catch a bus to M. G. Road or Cubbon Park to reach here. Another way of commuting is via the metros.
The best time to visit Indira Gandhi Musical Fountain Park is from November to February. In these winter months, the city is a little cold, with temperatures ranging between 15 – 21 degrees Celsius, thus making it the perfect time to explore the park with its green surroundings.
