Dubai’s proud multi-purpose sports arena is the Hamdan Sports Complex which was completed in 2010. The 2010 FINA world swimming championships were held here in which 153 countries have participated. It hosted the final games of the 2014 FIBA Under-17 World Championship as well. International aquatic events will be held at the stadium.
A total of 15000 spectators can be accommodated inside and watch swimming, badminton, basketball, tennis, volleyball, water polo etc. The stadium is sprawling around in 24 hectares of land and located on the Emirates Road. The strikingly beautiful architecture that merges with the melodic hue of blue and the superlative green colour spreading on the landscape outside is a talk of the town always.
