HAMBURG DUNGEON

One of the top tourist places in Hamburg, the Hamburg Dungeon is a museum that depicts the dark side of the city over the last 600 years. Go on a 90-minute tour to experience many periods of the city's life such as the great fire, floods, and the torture methods for the Jews at this interesting museum.

Opened in 2000, Hamburg dungeon is a museum that allows only adults and children above the age of 10 to visit to experience this museum. Visit the torture chamber which showcases the horrific interrogation of people who were suspected of smuggling in the Napoleonic invasion. Then head over to face the terror of the Great Fire of 1842 during your tour.

The Labyrinth of the Lost is another section of the museum which is a mirror maze and you can try to find a way to get out of it. The museum also has a graphic exhibition and shows based on the Cholera outbreak in 1892 depicting the cholera epidemic which wiped out over one third of the population of the city. The dungeon has amazing actors who are experts in storytelling and acting.
