How To Reach

By Road: Mount Chin Chang is located at a distance of around 36 km from the centre of Langkawi Island. You can reach the mountain in approximately 45 minutes via the Jalan Teluk Yu/Route 113. You can either take your private car or rent one and enjoy a self-drive on the scenic trails of the mountain.

By Cable Car: To make your journey more exciting, you can opt for a fun cable car ride to reach the summit of Mount Chin Chang. You can head towards the Langkawi Cable Car Station which is around 21.5 km from the centre of Langkawi, taking around 32 minutes to reach. Once you reach the station, you can board the cable car and enjoy a fun 15-minute ride to Mount Chin Chang.

By Foot: You can also opt for a scenic hike to the summit of Mount Chin Chang. The hike starts from the base of the Langkawi Cable Car Station which is around 21.5 km from the centre of Langkawi. Once you reach the base, you can start your ascent and enjoy a 3-hour hike to Mount Chin Chang.

Mount Chin Chang is a year-round destination, offering unique experiences throughout the day. The Best Season to visit the mountain is between November and April to experience the least rain, more sunshine and pleasant weather conditions. Also, the best day of the week to plan your visit to the mountain on the weekdays if you wish to avoid the crowds of the weekend and peacefully explore the attraction.
