How To Reach

By Car: The Gothic Quarter is 2.3 kilometres away from the city centre and will take 10 minutes to reach via the Via Laietana route. 

By Train/ metro: Take a train to Liceu station which is 450 metres away from the museum. You can reach the activity location from the train station with a 6-minute walk.

By Foot: From the heart of Barcelona, you can reach the Gothic Quarter by taking the Avda. del Portal de L’Angel. The overall journey can last up to 1 kilometres long and will take 15 minutes.

Best Time To Visit

• The Gothic Quarter is a year-long destination, so it is open throughout the year and you can plan your visit accordingly. 
• March to May is the best time to visit Barcelona as the climate is milder and there are comparatively less crowds in the city.
• Plan your visit on the weekdays as the chances of crowding is very minimal.
• To avoid crowds, plan your visit in the mornings to get ahead of the rest of the visitors.

• Dress modestly by covering your shoulders and knees when visiting the cathedral in the Gothic Quarter. 
• You can find a lot of hawker markets selling freshly cooked food, so don’t hesitate to treat your taste buds.
