About Giraffe Centre

Highlights: Initiated by Jock Leslie Melville, the centre was originally started as a captive breeding place for a captured baby giraffe. Since then, the centre has seen many different species of giraffes coming up in its precincts. The centre is also equipped with an education centre for tourists. Visitors can entertain themselves with the heart warming views of feeding giraffes from a raised platform. You can also view a number of warthogs in the centre. Location: The centre lies at a little distance of 5 kilometres from central Nairobi, at Karen.

Timings: Mon-Sun: 9:00 AM to 5:30 PM

Price: Adult: 700 KSH; Child: 250 KSH
