Spreaded over 1.2 hectares of land, the picturesque conservatory houses more than 130,000 plants of different species from five continents of the world. The garden significantly replicates the cool and dry atmosphere of the Mediterranean.

Located in the marina garden road, the flower dome of Gardens by the Bay is one of the beautiful conservatories existing in the whole of Singapore. The conservatory features a wide array of different species of plants and flowers from all around the world. Known as the largest glass greenhouse in the world, the place is covered with 3,332 glass panels. 

Inside the Flower Dome, the climate seems to replicate the cool and dry weather of the Mediterranean and other different regions of the world including South Africa, Australia, and America. Hence, the temperature of the garden remains around 23°C to 25°C. 

Situated with 1.2 acres of land, the picturesque Flower Dome consists of a total of eight gardens: Californian Garden, South American Garden, Mediterranean Garden, South African Garden, Olive Grove, Australian Garden, and Baobabs. In the middle of the garden, a display screen has been featured to showcase the charms of flowers changing their theme according to the seasons. How To Reach

By Bus/Train: If you take a bus or train, the nearest station is the MRT station. From there you can take the route of Exit B and follow the underground linkway. Then cross the meadow bridge or Dragonfly bridge to get into the Gardens by the bay. 

By Cab/Taxi: If you are opting for a cab, alight at Tanjong Pagar MRT station and get a taxi booked to reach the Gardens by the bay directly.
