About Frioul Archipelago

The cluster of islands known as the Frioul archipelago is located just a few miles from the coast of Marseille on the Mediterranean Sea. The islands are counted as districts of the city and include the ile d'if as an integral part. While this island is one of the major spots in the cluster, the other significant islands are the Ratonneau and the Pogues. The islands are located just a 15 minute Ferry ride from the old port and are home to a small number of people. The two main islands, namely the Ratonneau and the Pomegues are connected by a causeway, the Digue de Berry.
