FLYING DODO

The Flying Dodo is one of the most vibrant and interesting places to visit in Tamarin Mauritius. It is a large brewery placed right in the middle of a happening restaurant and lounge. It is home to some of the best craft beer in Mauritius and there are a staggering variety of specially crafted beer you can choose from.

The brewery makes about 20 different varieties of beer each year with one new and unique variety each month. Another speciality of the beer available here is that they are unpasteurised so you get to taste the natural taste of this very popular beverage.

Along with beer, the restaurant also serves a wide variety of Mauritian and European food with specialities like taro cakes, Chef’s Salad, fish and chips and lots more. Live music and performances are available on Friday evenings as well on some weeknights. You can take a tour of the brewery free of cost if you just want to take a look around.
