EMERALD BAY

If you have already had your visit to Lake Tahoe then the Emerald bay is just a short drive away from South Lake Tahoe and can be easily accessed through highway 89. Emerald bay is a beautiful oasis of shimmering greens and turquoises amidst the deep Blue Mountains that serve as a beautiful backdrop.

Emerald bay is hence the crown jewel of Lake Tahoe. There are also a variety of adventures that you can occupy yourself with. Such activities include going hiking, biking as well as multiple water sports. You can also visit the popular Fannette island that is located right in the heart of the emerald bay and is regarded as “the most photographed place on earth”.
