The Chiang Kai Shek Memorial Hall is one of the best places to visit in Taipei, built to commemorate Chiang Kai-shek, the former Taiwan President. It is located within Liberty Square and boasts the National Performance Halls, the Gate of Integrity, and beautiful gardens and trails.
The memorial hall has a white square body and blue octagonal roof, representing the white sun and blue sky, both symbolizing equality and freedom. Hourly military honor guards changing ceremony is conducted from 9 am to 5 pm every day.
