How To Reach

You can reach the Jurassic Mile in different ways. You can take a public bus and alight at the Terminal 4 stoppage, which is where the attraction is located. You can also take an MRT and get down at the Changi Airport MRT Station and make your way to Terminal 2. You can rent bikes and cycles from the Hub & Spoke Cafe to journey across the 2-km long pathway. The pathway is also located a short distance from the East Coast Park from where you can either walk, jog or cycle to the attraction.

1. Arrival Garden 

The arrival garden is a sprawling indoor greenhouse that welcomes travelers to the Changi Airport with a burst of colors in the form of trees, shrubs, plants, and flowers. The garden is spread over an area of 420 square meters and filled with unique and colorful tropical plants that are built to replicate the habitat of a dragonfly. There is also a mechanized indoor pool that rips and makes patterns on the surface to make it seem as though dragonflies are touching the surface of the water. You can also walk underneath towering palm trees and other tropical foliage that makes it feel like the inside of a magical rainforest. 

2. Birds in Flight 

Birds in Flight is a metallic art installation inside the Changi Airport that is fascinating to witness. It is a metaphor for modern travelers, created and conceptualized by Baet Yeok Kuan. The installation is made in a way to replicate the flight patterns and behavior of the Arctic Tern - a bird that flies very long distances at various times of the year to stay in warmer climates. The pattern and flow of the installation are that of the annual migration of the Arctic Tern which is a reflection of travelers that fly through the airport. The birds have been created with a plasma cutter and symbolize hope, exploration, freedom, and infinite quest. 

3. Manulife Skynets - Bouncing 

Manulife Skynets is a giant installation of a web of nets inside the Changi Airport, strung 8 meters above the ground and open for tourists to experience first-hand. It is a thrilling experience where you get to bounce on these nets and feel weightless and you go from one section to the other. They are made with utmost safety, which means children, as well as adults, can enjoy this at the airport as a unique and memorable experience. 

4. Butterfly Garden 

This is a special garden dedicated entirely to various exotic butterfly species from all over the world. In fact, this is the first butterfly garden in the world that is built inside an airport and is home to some of the rarest species of butterflies ever. Tips To Visit Changi Jurassic Mile

-Even though these are just models, make sure to stay away from the fences beyond which the models are located 

-There is a golf course nearby and often, balls come through the nets in the Changi Jurassic Mile. So, to avoid the balls and getting hurt, stay underneath the nets at all times 

- The Changi Jurassic Mile is open 24 hours of the day 

- The pathway consists of many information boards so make sure you read those to understand the type and nature of the dinosaurs 

- Do not touch the models when you are clicking pictures with them 

- The pathway is 2 km long so it is recommended that you traverse it on cycles bikes or skates and not on foot.
