The Cathedral of the Blessed Virgin Mary reflects confidence, liberality and difficult work of the Hamilton Diocese. This Cathedral is a structure of the 21st century, redeveloped in 2008 making a more present day Cathedral while supporting the motivation behind the old Cathedral, to be the point of convergence of the Catholic Diocese of Hamilton.
This Cathedral stands to offer Glory to God, to help all to remember the individuals who pass by the presence of God in their lives, and to be a Sacred Place where the Church assembles to adore God, and invest energy in pious consideration of the Divine Mystery.
