The Black and white house was built in the year 1621 and has been used by many people such as butchers, bankers, and ironmongers. The Old House was converted into a museum in the year 1929 and has been representing Jacobean times. You get a chance to explore many objects such as baby walkers and wall paintings from this time period.

You can explore all three floors of the museum and look at the amazing fireplace which is one of the main attractions from the 15th century. The Museum has many stunning Jacobean wall paintings which were bought from other houses in Hereford in the 17th century. One of the paintings also depicts the Biblical story of Joseph interpreting Pharaoh's Dream.
