Doi Buak Ha Mountain cradles this royal residence located close to the most revered temple of Chiang Mai, Wat Phra That Doi Suthep. The construction of the complex, which now serves as the winter palace of the royal family, was commissioned by King Rama V in 1961.
In addition to three main structures that are gracefully crafted and make for wonderful examples of Thai architecture, there is a landscaped garden within the palace complex, enhancing its charm. Thailand trip packages offer a unique opportunity to explore the rich cultural and historical significance of Bhubing Palace. On several occasions, this magnificently designed house has hosted royal guests. Owing to its location and its aura, Bhubing Palace is one of the most exquisite tourist places in Chiang Mai.
