This ancient Hindu temple located by the seashore is dedicated to Lord Shiva as Shri Shashibhushan Mahadev and Bhidbhanjan Ganpati Ji. Pooja Acharya Shri Bhav Brihaspati is said to have built this temple. According to mythology, it was from this place that the Jara hunter took aim before shooting his arrow at Lord Krishna.
There is also a Harshit Mata Mandir within this temple premises. There are two big Shiva Lingas on the beach near the temple called Baan Ganga and it is a beautiful experience to visit these lingas.
