Explore Berawa Beach, located on the Canggu coastline, it is one of Bali’s least explored beaches. While the turbulent waters of the Berawa coast make it largely unfit for swimming, the swells are just the perfect fit for surfing sports. You can also discover several luxury clubs, restaurants, and unique party spots on the Berawa beachfront, on your exceptional Bali experience.
Located a half an hour’s drive away from the more populous Canggu, Berawa stands out as one of the quietest of public beaches to visit on your Bali trip from India. Not many perhaps have heard of what the beach has to offer, making it far less crowded than its sisters. The white sands of the beach clash jarringly against the bright azure waters lapping against it, making it appear as a scene right out of a movie.
The sands at Berawa Beach are lined up with chaise lounges and rest areas, for those that just want to spend a day under the sun. There are plenty of beach huts as well, for those seeking relief from the hot Balinese sun. The currents off the Berawa shore are, however, too strong to make it fit for swimming.
Surfers, though, flock to the Berawa beach for the same reason- the steady, strong currents at the beach makes it suitable for surfing sports. The challenging reef breaks at Berawa attract surfers from all over Bali. These waves, however, must be navigated with expertise, and can only be surfed by those with prior experience in the sport.
The beachfront is lined with several upscale restaurants, clubs and cafes, serving a whole range of food and beverages. Berawa is also home to the famous Finns Beach Club of Canggu, which functions doubly as a water park and a recreation center.
