The Museum is divided into separate sections, including sections on Arts Crafts, Industry, Archaeology and Armory. There is a separate Children’s gallery as well. The collection at the Government Museum includes historic sculptures of several Indian deities, daggers and swords, renowned Mughal paintings and much more.

However, it is the Museum’s epigraph collection that makes it one of the most renowned Ajmer tourist places. The Rahomi epigraph dating back to 2nd century BCE, or the Pushkar Inscription of the 10th century are some of the best examples.

Timings: The Museum remains closed on Mondays. It operates between 12.00PM and 08.00PM on all other days of the week.
