AHSAN MANZIL MUSEUM

Known to be the seat of the Nawab of Dhaka, Ahsan Manzil Museum is one of the best places in Bangladesh where you can have a glimpse of Dhaka's rich history. It is located on the Buriganga river bank and was the residence place of the most influential family in Dhaka.

The palace declined with the end of British rule, and the government opened it as a museum for the people. Inside the museum, the visitors can learn about the Bengali Nawab's culture and lifestyle. There is a huge ballroom inside the museum that houses many beautiful paintings and artifacts.
