798 ART ZONE

Also known as Dashanzi, the 798 Art Zone should be top in your list of places to visit in Beijing. It is a cluster of what used to be military factories for the Imperial dynasty. However, it is now being used as a creative space for big art organisations like the Ullens Center for Contemporary Art. This is where the work of established Chinese artists is showcased.
