Get ready to taste the rich flavours of two continents - Asia & Europe and experience the food culture of Turkey. You will be accompanied by a local English-speaking guide who will take you around the best places in Istanbul and let you taste some unique Turkish delicacies and home-cooked food combined with flavourful desserts and some local drinks. Plus, all the transfer services starting from the meeting point are covered in the package.
About the Activity:
- Arrive at the meeting location at least 15 minutes before your scheduled time and meet your professional English-speaking guide.
- Start your journey from Fuego Café and Restaurant in the Sultanhamet neighbourhood by boarding a local tram to Eminonu Port. From there, you will get a public ferry ride across the Bosporus Strait to Kadikoy Port in Asia.
- Explore the Kadikoy area, where you will get to visit a maze of streets lined with local shops that sell all sorts of products.
- You can visit the fish market with your companions and taste some delectable mussels stuffed with rice and spices.
- Next, your guide will take you to a restaurant specialising in home-cooked food. Here, you can taste the special Kurdish dishes of southeast Turkey. Both vegetarian & gluten-free options will be available.
- Take a ride back to Europe on a ferry and relish a panoramic night view of Istanbul.
- It's time for some sweets, so your guide will take you to a typical Turkish dessert-tasting place.
